Safety is our mission at Lauren Concrete

Lauren Concrete’s commitment to safety is critical
to the success of our company. Our goal is to ensure
that each employee leaves work at the end
of their shift as safe and healthy as when they arrived at work.
In addition, it is important to ensure the safety of our customers
and the communities we serve.
When this is accomplished, we are successful.

The Lauren Concrete safety culture includes on-going safety training programs, monthly safety meetings, an employee safety award program and monthly safety newsletters.

Each employee undergoes training through the well-renouned Smith System Driver Training Course by a Smith System certified instructor, and is required to keep
this certification up-to-date.

Lauren Concrete has also received nation-wide recognition for outstanding safety practices. Every year, Lauren Concrete invites OSHCON representatives to review Lauren Concrete safety policies, operations, programs and facilities to ensure compliance with not only OSHA requirements, but also to update safety practices and plans.

This year Lauren Concrete was awarded 13 Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program (SHARP) Awards from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).  The SHARP program recognizes small business employers who have used OSHA’s On-Site Consultation Program services and operate an exemplary safety and health program. Acceptance into SHARP from OSHA is an achievement of status that singles Lauren Concrete out as a model for worksite safety and health.
